Help Drive Transportation in Napa Valley

NAPA — Do you have ideas for making Napa Valley a better place for getting around while meeting everyone’s transportation needs?

The Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) has immediate openings on advisory committees focused on all modes of transportation, as well as oversight of Measure T sales tax expenditures going toward revitalization of local streets and roads. This is your opportunity to drive change for the future!

Positions are now available on the following:

·         Citizens Advisory Committee (CAC). The CAC focuses on a broad spectrum of transportation modes with the goal of updating transportation infrastructure by improving the health and wellbeing of our community in Napa Valley.

·         Active Transportation Advisory Committee (ACTC).  The ATAC promotes and encourages safe bicycling and walking.

·         Paratransit Coordinating Council (PCC). The PCC focuses on the transportation issues of persons with special needs, including elderly, disabled, low- income and underserved populations.

·         NVTA also is seeking members for the Measure T Independent Taxpayer Oversight Committee, known as ITOC, which is tasked with ensuring revenues raised by the tax measure are spent by NVTA in accordance with the voter-approved expenditure plan and ordinance.
