Notice of Public Hearing: Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) Biennial Budget Adoption for the Fiscal Years 2018-19 and 2019-20

A public hearing will be held on Wednesday, April 18th  2018, at 1:30 P.M. in the NVTA Board Room, 625 Burnell St., Napa, California by the Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) during the NVTA Board of Director’s meeting to receive public testimony on the proposed NVTA biennial budget for Fiscal Years 2018-19 and 2019-20. 

NVTA is a Joint Powers Authority comprised of the Cities, Town and County of Napa.  NVTA serves as the countywide transportation planning body for the unincorporated areas within Napa County and is responsible for programming State and Federal funds for transportation projects within the county.  NVTA is further charged with coordinating short and long term planning and funding and serves as the transit provider for the communities of Napa County.

The NVTA Board of Directors is required to adopt an annual budget by June 30th for the upcoming fiscal year.  The biennial budget encompasses planned operations and capital projects for the Congestion Management Agency (General Fund), Vine Transit, American Canyon Transit, Yountville Trolley, St. Helena Shuttle, Calistoga Shuttle, VineGo paratransit, shared vehicle and taxi scrip program.
