Scope of Work
The Napa Valley Transportation Authority (NVTA) needs a new TRANSIT MAINTENANCE FACILITY to serve its transit system. The transit system is comprised of all of the local and regional VINE bus routes, community shuttles, shared vehicle and the VINE GO paratransit services in Napa County. The present facility at 720 Jackson Street in the City of Napa has an inadequate number of bus maintenance bays, does not have adequate parking spaces for all vehicles and lacks space for a modern bus wash. The current facility offers no room for expansion so NVTA purchased new property to build a new TRANSIT MAINTENANCE FACILITY (also referred to as “Project”). The two (2) parcels owned by NVTA total 8.08 acres and are located at the terminus of Sheehy Court west of its intersection with Devlin Road (APN 057-250-025 and APN 257-250-036). A Parcel Map is included as Attachment 1.
The intent of this RFP is to hire a Consultant to complete architectural/engineering services for schematic design, final design, riparian applications, permitting and related pre-construction and construction support services.  To read more, click here.
