Route 11X and 29 Vine Buses Will Stop at Imola Park & Ride Instead of the Transit Center Beginning October 30.

Riders can reach Downtown Napa, Transit Center by transferring for free to the S Route or scheduling an on-demand ride.

Riders of Vine Bus routes 11X and 29 will soon stop at the Imola Park and Ride in south Napa, instead of travelling into Napa and stopping at the Soscol Gateway Transit Center. By traveling along the Highway 29, riders will shave close to 20 minutes off their regional commutes.

“These new express and regional route stops will improve commuters’ drive times and should make transit a more appealing option for those going farther distances,” said NVTA Executive Director Kate Miller. “Plus, by keeping these commuter buses along Highway 29 rather than deviate into the City of Napa, we’re reducing greenhouse gas emissions and creating a more environmentally friendly transportation option.”

Riders who need to get to Downtown Napa from Imola Park & Ride have two options:

  1. Transfer for free to the nearby Vine Route S bus (https://vinetransit.com/routes/route-s/), or
  2. Schedule an on-demand ride from one of Vine Transit’s nearby bus stops including the closest at Imola Ave at Kent (707-251-1097 or on the Ride The Vine mobile app available on the Apple App or Google Play Stores). This on-demand ride is free because it serves as a transfer from the 11X or 29 bus.

If the Park & Ride is the start or endpoint for riders of the 11X or 29 Vine Bus routes, riders can enjoy the many amenities of the new Park & Ride, including:

  • Parking,
  • Secure bike storage,
  • Sheltered and lit waiting areas, and
  • Signs to help riders make transportation connections.
