Vine Transit Responds to Napa County Fires

Vine Transit deployed buses early this morning to the Silverado Country Club area at the request of Napa County fire officials to transport people who were forced from their homes to safety.  A total of four (4) buses were dispatched to the Silverado Country Club area at about 2 am to assist evacuees.

Vine Transit is continuing to keep buses on standby in the event more evacuations or other assistance is needed.  As a result of the emergency response, Route 1(Browns Valley) and Route 25 (Napa to Sonoma) will not be operating on Monday.  Route 5, which includes Coombsville area east of Napa, also has limited service.

All other fixed route services, as well as on-demand shuttles in Calistoga, St. Helena, Yountville, and American Canyon, are operating normally.

Riders can call Vine Transit's Dispatch Center at (707) 251-1097 for up-to-the-minute route information.
